March 6th - John Atkinson of Stereophile

John Atkinson is currently Technical Editor of Stereophile, after several decades as the editor.  He joined CAS in person in 2013 for our 30th anniversary meeting. He will join us via Zoom to share his insights. This meeting is open for CAS members and invited guests only.

February 6th - Merrill Wettasinghe of Merrill Audio Advanced Technologies Labs

Merrill Wettasinghe of Merrill Audio Advanced Technologies Labs will present on "Why Class A amplifiers are Good, and the Challenges of GaN Transistors." The meeting will be a Zoom presentation and is open for club members and guests only.

January 9th - Mike Fremer

December 5th - Remote Holiday Meeting Featuring Ethan Winer

November 7th - Whole House AV Setup

October 3rd - Doug Fearn Presents Abbey Road Studios

On October 3rd Doug Fearn will present his insights into the Abbey Road Studios via Zoom. Doug Fearn is founder and designer of D. W. Fearn fine recording gear which is now hand assembled in the United States by Hazelrigg Industries. More information can be found at http://dwfearn.com. This Zoom meeting will be open to Connecticut Audio Society members and guests only.

August 1st - Presentation by Paul Barton

Unfortunately, Mr. Barton was not able to present. Instead we were treated with a virtual tour of several members' systems via Zoom. Everyone expressed how much they enjoyed this new format.

On August 1, 2020 at 12:30 pm The Connecticut Audio Society is pleased to host Paul Barton, founder of PSB Speakers, to present to the membership via Zoom. June 6th - *** Online Meeting *** The Dawn of Digital

Following up on the success of our first online meeting, member Tom Fine will present “The Dawn of Digital” at 1pm on June 6th. We’ll open the online meeting around noon again to allow members to get connected and chat a bit before the main event. Attendance will be limited to CAS members only.

May 2nd - *** Online Meeting *** The Roon Digital Music Management System

Connecticut Audio Society member Ted Brewer will present the ROON digital music management system to members. Meeting to be held online in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.  This will be the Society's first online meeting. Attendance for this meeting will be for members only.

February 1st - Orchard Audio Presents

Orchard Audio will talk with members about the company's innovative product line. Orchard Audio is the result of decades of engineering expertise and consulting work for some of the world's most advanced companies (NASA, Lockheed Martin, L3 Technologies, Siemens). After designing products for several elite names in the industry, Orchard Audio was launched in 2017 to independently release its own line of advanced audio products. Meeting to be held in Stamford, CT.
